10 Fun Date Night Ideas

If you’re in a relationship, it’s important to make time for each other and keep the romance alive. Date nights are a great way to take a break from the normal routine or if you have a kids and/or pets, give your brain a much needed break.
It can be hard to come up with ideas for a date night as we have a lot going on, which is why we found 10 fun and unique date nights you can do as a couple.
SCENIC HIKE + LUNCH
Go on a scenic hike and have a picnic lunch at the top of a hill or unique scenic spot. This is a great way to enjoy nature on a crisp day and, bonus, get some exercise together. Pack a healthy lunch that you both can enjoy. Especially with the weather being cool and brisk this could be an exciting time to get outside and explore!
COOKING CLASS
Take a cooking class together and learn to make a new dish. This is a fun and interactive way to spend time together and learn a new skill. Many cooking schools offer classes for couples and sometimes you could find some really affordable ones in your local Facebook groups.
VINEYARD OR BREWERY
Go wine tasting at a local vineyard. This is a romantic and sophisticated date idea. Many vineyards offer tours and tastings, and you can often purchase a bottle of your favorite wine to take home with you. Now, if you’re not a drink that’s okay, search for unique outdoor venues like national parks and gardens in your area.
HOT AIR BALLON
Not for the weak knees, but is an incredible experience once you get above the Earth! Take a hot air balloon ride for a unique and unforgettable experience. This is a more extravagant date idea, but it is sure to be a memorable and exciting experience.
STARGAZING
A classic go-to for any calm, romantic evening - go stargazing in a secluded location. Find a secluded spot away from light pollution and bring a blanket to lie on while you gaze at the stars.
JAZZ CLUB
This isn’t the first thing on our minds when we think “night out on the town” right? That’s why it’s perfect, have you ever been?! Try visiting local a jazz club and have a cozy night out. Jazz clubs have a romantic and intimate atmosphere, making them a great choice for a date night.
CARRIAGE RIDE IN TOWN
Sure, it’s from a rom-com but there’s a reason why ever romantic movie has a least one carriage ride, they are amazing! Go on a carriage ride through a charming town either near your home or take a weekend away. Many towns offer horse-drawn carriage rides through their historic or picturesque areas. It's a romantic and leisurely way to spend an evening.
GAME NIGHT
Either by yourself or gather some friends you haven’t spent time with lately and have a game night with your favorite board games. If you decide to have the date night on your own, maybe even try video games? Does your partner enjoy playing them, explore their interests and have a little fun. However, if you don’t have games at home - search for the nearest arcade or game cafe to feel like a kid again.
GO PICKING!
Go to a local farm and pick your own fruit or vegetables. This is a fun and different way to spend a date, and you can take home your harvest to cook with later.
SPA NIGHT
